Ayres Guest House is very easy to find as it is just beyond the first mini rounabout when arriving from the Glasgow/Crianlarich
direction. Oban is about a two hour drive from Glasgow and three hours by train along one of the most beautiful rail routes
in the country. From Glasgow take the A82 and follow the signs to Crianlarich then follow the signs to Oban. As you come down
the hill into Oban travel straight through the first mini roundabout towards the shore. Our terrace is adjacent to the car
park on your immediate left. Look for the sign Sutherland Hotel on the gable end of the terrace. We are next door and overlook
the green facing the sea.
If you are coming from the south (Lochgilphead for example) then drive through Oban, following the Fort William and Crianlarich
signs. We overlook the large roundabout (picture on the left) which takes you out of Oban back to the Glasgow direction.
